Relationship Talk With Bukky: My man like getting attention from another woman, is this OK?

Holding in your feelings and failing to express them might be just as unhealthy for your relationship as infidelity.

I talked to him about it and he said he can never cheat on me. Truth be told I don't know what to do.

Dear Bukky,

I have been dating this guy for a year plus now. It has always been me in his life no friends.

Each time I receive calls from my male friends, he gets angry and calls them back at times telling them I have a boyfriend. Few weeks back, two of his friends came around and they have been hanging out together from one hotel to another.

He came back from one of his trips and as I was going through his pictures, I saw a photo of him and another girl in a hotel room and the girl wore his shirt. I was devastated and did not say anything to him.

I noticed a particular lady has been calling him ever since he came back from that journey. She calls like more than four times a day and he never misses her calls. I talked to him about it and he said he can never cheat on me.

Truth be told I don't know what to do because the girl still calls even late at night.

Dear reader,

I think you should give him the same energy he brings to the table. It is only logical and rational that if he is banning your friends from calling and getting too close, you should be able to ask him to do the same.

If he is unwilling to grant you the same courtesy you grant him, then he’s not doing right by you. That much is apparent.

I think you need to speak out about this and stop bottling it in. If he is not going to cheat on you, then he has to start acting it. It is not enough to say it. He should start taking steps to show it.

If he is not willing to do cut that girl off, for example, you should not rate his promise to not cheat on you. It is most likely an empty one.

When a promise is made, there is meant to be actions to back it up. Without that, promises are nothing but empty words.”

Ask for him to cut off that babe. If he refuses, start preparing to cut him off.
